Defining Moments

FROM Implementing models of best
practises for Enterprise DevOps

Context

The Chief Technology Officer of a fortune 500 Fintech was concerned with the stalling digital transformation of its new API-driven micro-services platform. The ability to release quickly and reliably to an ever-growing client demand was bleak. This was due to a lack of a concrete DevOps model and alignment across their stakeholders.

Outcome

Within 3 months, stakeholders aligned around a clear Site Reliability Engineering operating model and a Development onboarding process that fundamentally transformed their ability to support and deliver within 1 hour to the new enterprise customer demands.

Context

The Chief Information Security Officer of an Insurance company had faced some gaps in their external PCI audit. It was clear additional gaps may exist. This was due to an outdated and manual process heavily dependant on meetings to confirm the compliance state.

Outcome

Remediation of the current findings were rectified immediately using advanced technology that dealt with CHD. To remove the need for a heavily manual process an infrastructure automation pipeline was implemented. This included driving change into PCI environments with config/infra-as-code and auditability. Always having compliance measured and baked-in as part of the change process. No more meetings to validate compliance.
